Process Improvement Engineer

Our client seeks a dedicated Process Improvement Engineer to join their team in Coventry . Key Responsibilities

• Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in production and administrative processes through detailed analysis.
• Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for process optimization.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing principles, such as 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping, to improve workflow and reduce lead times.
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to track process performance and measure the impact of implemented changes.
• Create and update process documentation, work instructions, and training materials for affected personnel.
• Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and operational failures, implementing corrective and preventive actions.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 4 years of experience in a process improvement or industrial engineering role.
• Certified or demonstrably experienced in Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis, and experience with process mapping software.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and team facilitation skills.
