Process Improvement Engineer

About the Role

Our client seeks a dynamic Process Improvement Engineer to join their operations team in Birmingham . This role is central to driving efficiency and optimizing workflows across various departments. You will be instrumental in identifying inefficiencies, developing practical solutions, and leading implementation projects to enhance overall productivity and reduce operational costs. Key Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for process optimization using data analysis and operational metrics.
• Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and Lean initiatives .
• Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new and improved processes.
• Measure the impact of implemented changes and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Train staff on new processes and best practices to ensure sustained adoption.
• Conduct root cause analysis for process failures and develop corrective action plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in process improvement, operations analysis, or industrial engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing , Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in process mapping tools and data analysis software.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives effectively.
