Key Responsibilities
- Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
- Design and implement new processes or modifications using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
- Develop and manage project plans for process improvement initiatives in Sunderland .
- Collect and analyze production data to track performance and measure the impact of implemented changes.
- Train relevant personnel on new or modified processes and best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and management teams to ensure successful adoption of improvements.
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in process improvement, operations, or a related role within the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred), and Kaizen methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Experience with process mapping, simulation, and statistical analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
