Process Improvement Engineer

About the Role

Our client seeks a dedicated Process Improvement Engineer to join their team in Coventry . Key Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for process optimization through data analysis, observation, and stakeholder engagement.
• Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams in the implementation of lean and Six Sigma projects.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for enhanced efficiency.
• Measure and report on the effectiveness of implemented process changes, ensuring sustainable improvements.
• Train and mentor staff on process improvement methodologies and tools.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and develop root cause analyses for effective problem resolution.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering , Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven track record in implementing process improvement initiatives, preferably using lean or Six Sigma frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection, interpretation, and statistical analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with process mapping tools and project management software.
