About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic Process Improvement Engineer to contribute to their ongoing operational enhancements in Birmingham . This role focuses on identifying and implementing strategic improvements to manufacturing and business processes, aiming to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and elevate product quality. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and logistics, to develop and execute solutions that drive tangible business value. Key Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities for process optimization through data analysis, root cause analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
- Design, document, and implement improved workflows, procedures, and system configurations.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools to eliminate non-value-added activities and improve throughput.
- Monitor the performance of implemented changes and make adjustments as necessary to ensure sustained benefits.
- Develop training materials and deliver training to operational staff on new processes and best practices.
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in process engineering, continuous improvement, or operational excellence.
- Demonstrated experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
