Process Industrial Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Process Industrial Engineer to enhance operational performance within their facilities located in Coventry . This role is crucial for evaluating and improving existing manufacturing processes, ensuring maximum efficiency, productivity, and quality. You will be instrumental in applying engineering principles to design, develop, test, and improve production methods and systems. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions for improvement.
• Design, develop, and optimize new production layouts and workflows using simulation tools.
• Implement and manage lean manufacturing initiatives, such as 5S, Kaizen events, and value stream mapping.
• Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, including flowcharts, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Collaborate with production staff and management to implement process changes and ensure successful adoption.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, quality, and cost, and report on findings.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in an industrial engineering or process improvement role.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and tools.
• Experience with data analysis, statistical process control (SPC), and process simulation software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels in Coventry .
