Process Industrial Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent Process Industrial Engineer to contribute to their operational improvements from their facility in Bradford . This role focuses on analyzing and redesigning operational workflows, implementing lean methodologies, and driving efficiency across various departments. You will play a crucial part in optimizing resource utilization, reducing cycle times, and enhancing overall productivity. This position offers a blend of on-site collaboration and the flexibility of hybrid working, allowing for a balanced approach to contributing to operational excellence in West Yorkshire .

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing business and manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks and areas for enhancement.
• Develop and implement process improvements using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Design and document new processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Conduct feasibility studies for new equipment or technology adoption to improve efficiency.
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement and monitor the effectiveness of process changes.
• Provide training and support to operational staff on new or revised processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in process engineering or industrial engineering roles.
• Demonstrated understanding of Lean principles , continuous improvement methodologies, and root cause analysis.
• Proficiency in process mapping and data analysis tools.
• Strong observational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid setting.
