Key Responsibilities
- Analyze process data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize process parameters, reduce energy consumption, and minimize waste.
- Utilize process simulation software to model scenarios and evaluate potential improvements.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to implement and validate optimization initiatives.
- Conduct root cause analyses for process deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare reports and presentations detailing optimization project findings and recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, with a focus on optimization or continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in data analysis techniques and statistical process control (SPC).
- Experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, UniSim).
- Strong understanding of chemical thermodynamics and reaction kinetics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting.
