About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Process Optimization Engineer to join their team in Norwich . Key Responsibilities

• Analyze process data using statistical tools and simulation software to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Develop and implement strategies for process optimization, focusing on yield improvement, energy reduction, and waste minimization.
• Design and execute experiments to test and validate optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D teams to implement process changes effectively.
• Ensure all implemented changes adhere to safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Document findings, recommendations, and implemented solutions thoroughly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering .
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in process engineering, with a strong focus on optimization and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DoE).
• Experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, Chemcad).
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical information to diverse audiences.
