CKB Recruitment is working with a growing independent Lloyd's Broker that is looking to strengthen its London-based team with the appointment of a Technical Services Associate.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Technical Services & Operations Manager, you'll play an important role in ensuring insurance transactions are processed accurately, efficiently and in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Working closely with brokers, insurers and colleagues, your responsibilities will include:

Processing insurance policies onto GPM and Stratify.

Preparing written and paid bordereaux.

Reviewing slips, endorsements, closings and associated insurance documentation.

Creating LPANs, ensuring calculations and supporting information are accurate.

Uploading documentation to Xchanging and resolving queries or discrepancies.

Maintaining technical information on internal company portals.

Liaising with brokers, insurers and internal teams to ensure transactions are progressed efficiently.

Supporting the wider Technical Services team with policy administration and processing requirements.

Developing knowledge of claims processes and additional London Market systems.

Ensuring work is completed accurately, within deadlines and in accordance with FCA regulations and internal compliance procedures.

What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience within London Market technical processing, insurance operations or broker support.

Ideally, you'll have:

Previous experience working within the Lloyd's or London Insurance Market.

Strong experience processing insurance policies onto insurance databases.

A good understanding of London Market documentation, including slips, endorsements, closings and bordereaux.

Knowledge of IMR (Insurers' Market Repository).

Experience dealing with LPANs, Xchanging queries and technical insurance processing.

Familiarity with systems such as GPM, CASA, PPL, ATLAS, ECF, LORS and DCOM would be advantageous.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.

Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with brokers, insurers and colleagues.

A proactive, organised approach and a willingness to develop your technical knowledge.

You don't need experience with every system listed. The business is looking for someone with a solid technical foundation, the right attitude and an enthusiasm for learning.
