About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly organized and diligent Procurement Administrator to support their purchasing department in Derby . This role is crucial for the smooth operation of procurement processes, involving the processing of purchase orders, liaising with suppliers, and maintaining accurate records. You will play a key administrative role, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all procurement-related tasks. This hybrid position offers a blend of remote work and in-office collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
- Liaise with suppliers to confirm order details, delivery times, and resolve queries.
- Maintain and update procurement records, databases, and filing systems.
- Assist with invoice processing and payment verification in coordination with finance.
- Support the procurement team with administrative tasks, including data entry and report generation.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative or procurement support role is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
