Procurement Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a data-driven Procurement Analyst to join their purchasing team in Bristol, South West England . This role will focus on analyzing procurement data, identifying trends, and supporting strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize spend and improve efficiency. You will work closely with the procurement team to provide insights that drive cost savings and enhance supplier performance. This is a hybrid role, allowing for a mix of remote work and in-office collaboration in Bristol .

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and performance trends.
• Develop reports and dashboards to visualize key procurement metrics and KPIs.
• Support the procurement team in strategic sourcing activities, including market intelligence gathering.
• Assist in supplier performance analysis and contract compliance monitoring.
• Identify process improvements within the procurement function and support their implementation.
• Maintain and manage procurement databases and documentation.

Requirements

• Experience in an analytical role, preferably within procurement or finance.
• Strong skills in data analysis, reporting, and data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
• Familiarity with procurement processes and terminology.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills to present findings to stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage analytical projects.
