Procurement Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a data-driven Procurement Analyst to join their team, working entirely remotely . This role is integral to optimizing procurement processes through in-depth data analysis, reporting, and identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. You will support the procurement team by providing critical insights into spending patterns, supplier performance, and market trends. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations, all within a flexible, home-based work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and trends in supplier spend.
• Develop and maintain procurement dashboards and reports for management review.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and provide insights to support relationship management.
• Assist in the preparation of RFPs, RFQs, and bid analysis.
• Support the procurement team in forecasting and budget planning activities.
• Identify and propose process improvements within the procurement function.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an analytical role, preferably within procurement or supply chain.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively in a fully remote setting.
• Good understanding of procurement processes and principles.
• Strong communication skills for presenting findings and recommendations.
