About the Role

Our client is seeking a data-driven and analytical Procurement Analyst to join their procurement function in Bristol . This role is crucial for providing insights into spending patterns, supplier performance, and market trends to support strategic sourcing decisions. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on procurement data, identifying opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and risk mitigation. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis tools, and a solid understanding of procurement processes. Key Responsibilities

Collect, cleanse, and analyze procurement data to identify trends and opportunities.
Develop reports and dashboards to track key procurement metrics and KPIs.
Conduct market research and supplier analysis to support sourcing strategies.
Support contract management processes through data analysis and risk assessment.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization within the supply chain.
Collaborate with procurement teams and stakeholders to provide data-driven recommendations.

Requirements

Proven experience (3+ years) in a procurement analyst, data analyst, or similar role.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Solid understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management principles.
Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
