About the Role
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Analyst to support their purchasing operations based in Reading . This role will focus on analysing procurement data, monitoring supplier performance, and supporting the procurement team in identifying cost-saving opportunities. You will be instrumental in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's sourcing activities. This is an office-based role that requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Monitor supplier performance against contracts and KPIs.
- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, spend, and savings achieved.
- Support the procurement team in sourcing activities, including market research.
- Assist in the management of procurement databases and systems.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Experience in an analytical role, preferably within procurement or finance.
- Strong data analysis skills, with proficiency in Excel.
- Familiarity with procurement processes and terminology.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
