Procurement Analyst

About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous and analytical Procurement Analyst to join their purchasing department, operating in a remote capacity to support their Brighton -based operations. This role is crucial for providing data-driven insights into procurement activities, supporting strategic decision-making, and enhancing the efficiency of our supply chain. You will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and reporting on various procurement metrics, including spend, supplier performance, and cost savings. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, consolidate, and analyse spend data across all procurement categories.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports on key procurement metrics (KPIs) and performance indicators.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents, quotation analysis, and supplier evaluation reports.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within the procurement function.
• Monitor supplier performance and collaborate on initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Support category managers and buyers with market intelligence and data analysis.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an analytical role, ideally within procurement or finance.
• Strong skills in data analysis, interpretation, and reporting using tools like Excel or Power BI.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Good understanding of procurement processes and supply chain concepts.
• Effective communication skills, able to present data clearly and concisely in a remote setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
