Procurement Specialist - FMCG

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for assigned categories of goods and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, negotiating favourable terms, pricing, and contracts.
• Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable supply and foster innovation.
• Conduct market analysis to stay informed about pricing trends, new materials, and potential supply chain risks.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., R&D, Operations, Finance) to understand their needs and ensure procurement strategies align with business objectives.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions when necessary to uphold quality and delivery standards for our client's FMCG products .

Requirements

• Proven experience in Procurement or Strategic Sourcing, preferably within the FMCG or manufacturing industries.
• Demonstrated success in negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze spending patterns and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Excellent understanding of procurement best practices and supply chain principles.
• Experience working effectively in a remote team environment , utilizing digital collaboration tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
