About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to focus on indirect services procurement within their organization, operating under a hybrid model from Sheffield . This role is crucial for sourcing and managing a variety of non-operational services, ensuring value for money, quality, and compliance. You will be instrumental in developing effective sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, and building strong supplier relationships for services ranging from IT support to professional consulting. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for indirect services categories, ensuring alignment with business needs and budgets.
• Conduct market research and supplier analysis to identify the best service providers and negotiate favourable terms and pricing.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for indirect services, including contract drafting, review, and implementation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key service providers, monitoring performance and addressing any issues.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand service requirements and ensure effective service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards for service procurement.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or Buyer , with a significant focus on indirect services or professional services procurement.
• Excellent negotiation skills and experience in managing service level agreements (SLAs).
• Strong understanding of contract law and risk management principles within procurement.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools, with strong analytical capabilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across departments.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in procurement processes.
