About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated Procurement Specialist to focus on sourcing and managing services for their business operations, offering full remote flexibility with a focus on their Nottingham base. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient procurement of a wide range of services, including IT, HR, professional services, and facilities management, at optimal value. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet diverse business needs. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the sourcing, negotiation, and contracting process for various service categories.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key service providers, ensuring performance and compliance.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new service providers and innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with internal department heads to understand their service requirements and deliver value.
- Manage contract lifecycle, including performance monitoring, renewals, and dispute resolution.
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, with a strong focus on sourcing and managing services.
- Proven ability to negotiate complex service agreements and achieve cost savings.
- Excellent understanding of service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for services.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
