Key Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory research and experiments to develop new FMCG products and reformulate existing ones.
• Optimize product formulations for taste, texture, shelf-life, and cost-effectiveness.
• Perform product testing and sensory evaluation, documenting results meticulously.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and regulatory affairs, throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Ensure all product development activities comply with relevant food safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, scientific advancements, and competitor activities in the FMCG space.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product development within the FMCG industry , preferably food or beverage.
• Strong knowledge of food chemistry, formulation techniques, and food processing methodologies.
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques and analytical instrumentation.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a meticulous approach to research and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative R&D team.
