About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and technically skilled Product Development Technologist to join their innovative product development team in Norwich . You will be instrumental in developing new FMCG products from concept to launch, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

• Develop new food products and reformulate existing ones to meet consumer trends and market needs.
• Conduct laboratory trials, pilot plant runs, and scale-up production trials.
• Ensure all products meet stringent quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with marketing, procurement, and manufacturing teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and costing information for new products.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Food Science, Technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience in product development within the FMCG food industry.
• Knowledge of food manufacturing processes, quality systems, and regulatory standards.
• Strong practical laboratory skills and experience with pilot plant operations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
