Job Description
Overview
Product Specialist Holemaking – £46,000 - £48,000 plus bonus, commission, FE car and benefits. National role requiring regular UK mainland travel. You must be based within 90 minutes of the B15/B16 postcodes.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers, Area Sales Managers and internal teams.
- Support customer trials, product testing, technical evaluations and complete demonstrations and test reports.
- Deliver product and application training to internal and external customers; support product launches, seminars and open houses.
- Contribute to market research, competitor analysis and product strategy.
- Work in a team-based environment reporting to the Rotating Tools Manager; deliver training and support as part of a national role.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong hands-on technical and application knowledge within the CNC sector, gained via a technical apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
- Solid carbide tooling experience, particularly Milling and Drilling in Aerospace and Automotive sectors.
- Commercial awareness with ability to identify growth opportunities.
- Self-motivated, influential with strong planning and organisational skills; able to work independently in a national role with overnight stays.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint; ability to explain technical information clearly to customers and sales teams.
- Based within 90 minutes of B15/B16 postcodes and willing to travel nationwide.
