Production Engineer - Chemical

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor production processes and equipment performance, identifying and resolving operational issues promptly.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and minimise waste.
• Work closely with the operations and maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures and training materials for production staff.
• Support the introduction of new products or process modifications into the production environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 2-4 years of experience in a production or manufacturing engineering role, preferably in the chemical sector.
• Familiarity with process control systems and plant operations.
• Good understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) principles.
• Problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to addressing operational challenges.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with various teams.
