Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts and order priorities.
- Coordinate with sales, procurement, and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address unforeseen issues or changes in demand.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, optimize capacity utilization, and reduce lead times.
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to meet production targets.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations to implement process improvements that enhance scheduling efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Production Planner or in a similar planning role within manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of production processes, material requirements planning (MRP), and inventory management.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote team environment.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain dynamics and manufacturing best practices.
