About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to lead a team on their manufacturing floor in Newcastle upon Tyne . This role is crucial for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining high productivity levels, and upholding stringent quality and safety standards. You will be responsible for supervising a team of production operatives, managing workflow, and implementing best practices to achieve operational goals. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and excellent leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities, ensuring targets for volume, quality, and timeliness are met.
• Supervise, train, and motivate a team of production staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Monitor production equipment and processes, implementing corrective actions to resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies on the shop floor.
• Collaborate with planning and logistics teams to manage material flow and inventory levels effectively.
