Production Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and capable Production Supervisor to oversee operations at their facility in Coventry . You will be instrumental in ensuring smooth and efficient production schedules, leading a team of dedicated production staff, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This hybrid role allows for a balance between on-site leadership and remote coordination, fostering a productive and collaborative work environment. You will contribute directly to the operational success of the plant, driving performance and motivating your team to achieve targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities, ensuring targets for quality, quantity, and timeliness are met.
• Manage, train, and motivate a team of production operatives, fostering a positive and productive work atmosphere.
• Implement and enforce health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for improvement.
• Ensure efficient use of resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent understanding of production processes and quality control standards.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.
