Our client is seeking an accomplished Programme Manager to oversee a strategic portfolio of projects within their organization, based in Cambridge . This senior role involves orchestrating multiple related projects to achieve specific business objectives and deliver strategic benefits. You will be responsible for programme governance, stakeholder management at the highest level, and ensuring alignment across all constituent projects. This is a critical leadership position for a seasoned professional looking to drive significant organizational change and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

Define and manage the overall strategy, objectives, and governance of the project programme .
Oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of individual projects within the programme.
Manage programme-level risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring effective mitigation strategies are in place.
Engage with and manage senior stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment with strategic goals.
Allocate resources effectively across the programme and monitor overall budget performance.
Foster a culture of collaboration and excellence among project teams and stakeholders involved in the programme.

Requirements

Extensive experience (8+ years) in Programme Management or senior Project Management roles.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex programmes with significant strategic impact.
Deep understanding of programme management methodologies and best practices.
Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at executive and board levels.
