Programme Officer - Community Development

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage community development projects from inception to completion.
• Conduct needs assessments and research to identify priority areas for intervention.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with community organizations, local government, and other relevant bodies.
• Monitor project progress, evaluate outcomes, and produce detailed reports for stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops and community consultations to ensure inclusive project design and delivery.

Requirements

• Experience in community development, social work, or project management within the non-profit sector.
• Strong understanding of social issues and community needs in urban settings.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
