About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Architect to manage and deliver a range of exciting architectural projects from inception through to completion in Sunderland . This role requires a blend of design acumen, technical expertise, and strong project management skills to ensure successful project outcomes. You will be the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, guiding projects through all phases while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development process for assigned architectural projects, ensuring alignment with client briefs and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and submit planning applications and building regulations documentation.
• Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and statutory bodies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Resolve design and construction issues, providing technical solutions and leadership to the project team.

Requirements

• Fully qualified Architect with professional accreditation (RIBA or equivalent).
• Substantial experience (5+ years) in managing architectural projects from concept to completion.
• Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of UK planning laws, building regulations, and construction methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills for effective stakeholder management.
