Project Engineer - Civil Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of civil infrastructure projects, from planning and procurement to execution and handover.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these.
• Coordinate site activities, including resource allocation, contractor management, and safety oversight.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues proactively to maintain project momentum.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with significant practical project management experience.
• Proven track record in managing civil infrastructure projects, such as highways, utilities, or public spaces.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contract administration, and site management principles.
• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and CAD viewers.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
