Want to run a project from start to finish and be trusted to make decisions?
Londinium Recruitment is working with a London main contractor turning over circa £20m to appoint a Project Manager.
The company operates across commercial and residential projects, combining new build construction with refurbishment and fit-out work. We’re looking for someone who enjoys being close to the job, leading the site team and turning a programme into a well-delivered project.
You’ll take responsibility for day-to-day delivery, bringing together subcontractors, design information, procurement and client expectations.
The role
*
Manage your project from mobilisation through to handover.
*
Own the construction programme and drive progress against key milestones.
*
Lead the site team and coordinate subcontractor activities.
*
Identify design and procurement requirements early to keep work moving.
*
Work alongside the Quantity Surveyor to manage changes and project costs.
*
Maintain site safety, workmanship and quality standards.
*
Lead progress meetings and keep the client and wider team informed.
*
Manage snagging, commissioning and a thorough handover.
About you
You’ll have a track record of delivering projects for a main contractor as a Project Manager. Your experience could be rooted in commercial or residential construction, with exposure to new build, refurbishment or fit-out.
We’re looking for someone organised, commercially aware and confident leading a site. Someone who deals with problems early and takes pride in the finished product.
Why consider it?
The opportunity to take ownership of delivery within a circa £20m contractor, where your contribution will be visible and your role extends across the full project lifecycle.
