Project Manager - New Product Development

About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Project Manager to lead exciting New Product Development (NPD) initiatives from their base in Oxford . This role is fundamental to bringing innovative products to market, managing all aspects of the product development lifecycle. You will work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and manufacturing, to ensure products are developed efficiently, meet market needs, and are launched successfully. This is a superb opportunity for a product-focused project leader to contribute to significant market advancements in a remote-friendly setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end process of new product development projects, from concept to launch.
• Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate activities across various departments (R&D, engineering, marketing, sales, operations) to ensure seamless product development.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
• Ensure products meet required quality standards, regulatory compliance, and customer specifications.
• Communicate project status, key decisions, and outcomes to stakeholders and senior management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager , specifically in New Product Development or Product Management.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and development methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Product Design, or a related field.
