Project Manager - Offshore Renewables

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead significant offshore renewable energy projects, based in Bristol . This role involves the full lifecycle management of complex projects, from conception and planning through to execution and closeout, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and contractors, navigating the unique challenges of offshore environments. This is a key leadership position driving the transition to sustainable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of offshore renewable energy projects.
• Develop and manage project scope, budget, schedule, and resources effectively.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
• Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Ensure all project documentation and reporting are accurate and up-to-date.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience (7+ years) in project management , with a significant focus on offshore projects, ideally within renewables or Oil & Gas.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Prince2, Agile).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing large budgets and complex contracts.
• Ability to travel and work effectively from our Bristol office.
