Location: Scotland (Hybrid)
Salary guide: up to £75,000 + car or allowance * Hours: 40 per week
The role
We're recruiting an HV Project Manager to join a growing team in Scotland, supporting delivery across a range of electrical installation projects. This is a hybrid position and will suit someone who can lead safe, compliant delivery while managing stakeholders, budgets, programmes and site teams.
What you'll be doing
Plan and deliver projects from design through installation to completion (programme, budget, resources, milestones)
Coordinate delivery across electrical works and other disciplines (e.g., civils/mechanical)
Lead teams on site (engineers, electricians, subcontractors, suppliers) including regular site meetings and progress reviews
Control cost and commercial change (forecasting, variations, orders, subcontractor payments)
Drive H&S and compliance, including RAMS and working to relevant UK standards/regulations (e.g., BS 7671, Electricity at Work Regulations 1989)
Manage technical coordination (drawings/specs/submittals; liaising with designers/consultants/clients)
Report clearly to senior stakeholders and maintain strong client relationships
What we're looking for
Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)
Typically 5-10+ years' experience delivering electrical construction / building services projects
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation and commissioning
Proven ability managing programmes, budgets and contracts
Confident leader with strong communication and problem-solving skills
Memberships beneficial (e.g., IET, CIOB)
Project exposure (examples)
High voltage / low voltage infrastructure across:
Commercial buildings
Hospitals/healthcare
Industrial plants
