Location: Rugby
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Temporary – 24 August 2026 to 24 November 2026
Working Hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm
DBS: Basic DBS required
### The Role
We are recruiting for a Project Officer to join a busy public-sector team in Rugby on an initial three-month temporary contract.
This is a varied role supporting the effective coordination and delivery of projects, working with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure activities are progressed efficiently and deadlines are met.
### Key Responsibilities
Support the planning, coordination and delivery of projects
Monitor project actions, timescales and progress
Maintain accurate project records and documentation
Prepare reports, updates and other project information
Coordinate meetings and follow up agreed actions
Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders
Identify issues or delays and escalate where appropriate
Provide general administrative and project support as required
### About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous project support, project officer or similar experience
Is highly organised and able to manage competing priorities
Has strong written and verbal communication skills
Is confident working with a range of stakeholders
Has good IT and Microsoft Office skills
Can work independently and as part of a team
A Basic DBS check is required for this position.
