Project Quantity Surveyor – M&E

SSA are recruiting a Project Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a leading Mechanical & Electrical contractor delivering CAT A, CAT B, and Shell & Core projects. You will manage the commercial aspects of your own projects, with the opportunity to progress into a Senior QS role within a short timeframe.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, cost reporting, forecasts, and commercial risks.

• Prepare take-offs, valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts.

• Manage subcontractor procurement, payments, variations, and account settlement.

• Monitor costs and project changes, protecting margins and reporting performance.

• Work closely with clients, suppliers, and project teams to resolve commercial matters.

Requirements

• Quantity surveying experience within M&E contracting.

• Ability to manage project finances and subcontractor accounts.

• Knowledge of construction contracts, variations, and commercial procedures.

• Strong negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.

• Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent industry experience
