Project Quantity Surveyor

Project Quantity Surveyor – Civil Engineering – Preston - £60k + Package

If you enjoy the variety of local authority highways work, this role gives you the chance to work across schemes ranging from £500k to £20m in value. Based out of the Preston office, you’ll join an established civil engineering contractor with experience across highways, active travel, bridges and public realm works.

As Project Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day commercial management of your schemes under NEC3 & 4 contracts. You’ll work closely with site teams to understand what’s changing on the ground, assess the cost impact and keep forecasts up to date. Your remit will include subcontract procurement and management, applications for payment, early warnings, compensation events and final accounts.

I’m keen to speak with Quantity Surveyors from a civil engineering contractor background who are comfortable managing their own commercial workload and have practical experience with NEC. Experience on local authority highways schemes would be particularly relevant.
