About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Property Development Manager to lead and manage development projects from inception to completion in Glasgow . This senior role involves overseeing all aspects of the development lifecycle, including site acquisition, planning, design, construction, and project delivery. You will work closely with internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and local authorities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex development projects within the Scottish property market.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of property development projects, ensuring successful delivery.
- Identify and assess new development opportunities in the Glasgow area.
- Secure planning permissions and navigate the regulatory landscape effectively.
- Oversee design development and construction phases, managing contractors and consultants.
- Control project budgets, timelines, and quality standards throughout the development process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities and community groups.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in property development management, preferably within the UK.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale development projects from start to finish.
- Strong understanding of planning regulations, construction methods, and contract management.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and project management skills.
- A degree in Construction Management, Real Estate, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with the Glasgow property and construction market is highly desirable.
