Property Development Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Property Development Manager to oversee a range of projects in the Bradford area. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing the entire development lifecycle, from initial concept and feasibility studies through to project completion and handover. You will be responsible for driving projects forward, managing budgets, and ensuring successful outcomes for a diverse portfolio of properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the West Yorkshire development landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of property development projects, including acquisition, planning, design, and construction.
• Conduct feasibility studies, market analysis, and financial viability assessments for new development opportunities.
• Secure necessary planning permissions and manage relationships with local authorities and stakeholders.
• Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Appoint and manage consultants, contractors, and other external parties involved in the development process.

Requirements

• Significant experience (5+ years) in property development management, preferably in the UK market.
• Demonstrated success in delivering complex development projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of planning legislation, building regulations, and construction practices.
• Excellent project management, leadership, and negotiation skills.
• Based in or able to commute regularly to Bradford .
