About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a proactive and experienced Property Development Manager to oversee exciting new projects in the Bristol area. This role demands a blend of strategic planning, financial acumen, and project execution expertise. You will be responsible for managing the entire development lifecycle, from site acquisition and planning consent through to construction and sales/disposal. This is a pivotal position within a reputable development firm, offering the chance to shape the future of Bristol 's urban landscape and deliver high-quality residential and commercial spaces, working within a collaborative team that values innovation and sustainability in property development.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure suitable land or property for development projects.
- Manage the entire property development process , from inception to completion.
- Oversee planning applications, building regulations, and other statutory approvals.
- Appoint and manage consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial viability and profitability.
- Monitor construction progress, quality, and compliance with health and safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Property Development Manager or in a similar development role.
- Strong understanding of the planning system, construction processes, and development finance.
- Excellent project management, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Degree in Property Development, Construction, Surveying, or a related field is advantageous.
- Familiarity with the Bristol property development market is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and deliver results on time and within budget.
