Property Development Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Property Development Manager to join their expanding team in Glasgow . This role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of property development projects, from initial concept and feasibility studies through to completion and sales. You will be responsible for managing budgets, timelines, stakeholder relationships, and ensuring that projects are delivered to the highest standards, meeting both financial and quality objectives. This is a key position for an individual with a strong understanding of the development process and a passion for creating successful real estate ventures.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential development opportunities, conducting feasibility studies and market analysis.
• Manage all phases of the development process, including planning, design, construction, and marketing.
• Develop and manage project budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other consultants throughout the project.
• Secure necessary planning permissions and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Oversee the sales and marketing strategy for completed developments.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in property development, project management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the development process, planning regulations, and construction methods.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and complex projects.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with development finance and investment appraisal.
• Degree in a relevant field such as Real Estate, Construction Management, or Urban Planning is preferred.
