Property Surveyor - Valuation

About the Role

Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Property Surveyor specializing in Valuation to join their expanding team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to conduct property valuations and surveys across a broad geographical area, serving clients including major lenders, investors, and private individuals. You will be responsible for delivering accurate, insightful, and timely valuation reports, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of autonomy, excellent technical skills, and a strong commitment to professional integrity, contributing significantly to the firm's nationwide reach from their home base.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive surveys and inspections of a wide range of residential and commercial properties.
• Prepare detailed and accurate valuation reports, adhering to RICS standards and client specifications.
• Provide expert advice on property values, market conditions, and potential development opportunities.
• Liaise effectively with clients, brokers, legal professionals, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of property law, building regulations, and market trends.
• Manage workload efficiently to meet agreed turnaround times and client service level agreements.

Requirements

• Full RICS (MRICS or FRICS) qualification in Valuation or General Practice Surveying.
• Significant post-qualification experience in property valuation.
• Proficiency with valuation software and digital reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
• Must be self-motivated, highly organised, and capable of working independently in a remote setting.
