The Role

As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant , you will support pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 , working closely with teachers and the SEN team to provide academic, behavioural, social, and emotional support.

Responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs within the classroom.
• Providing 1:1 and small group interventions.
• Assisting children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech and Language needs, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
• Supporting behaviour management strategies and emotional regulation.
• Helping pupils develop confidence, resilience, and independence.
• Building positive relationships with pupils to encourage engagement in learning.
• Supporting teachers with classroom activities and learning resources.
• Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.
