Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze relevant legislative and policy developments impacting the company.
• Develop and advocate for the company's public policy positions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, regulators, and industry bodies.
• Prepare briefing papers, policy recommendations, and submissions to government consultations.
• Represent the company in relevant industry associations and forums.
• Advise senior management on public affairs strategy and political risks.

Requirements

• Proven experience in public affairs, government relations, or policy advocacy.
• Strong understanding of the political and legislative processes in the UK, particularly in Scotland .
• Excellent analytical, research, and report-writing skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Experience in stakeholder mapping and engagement strategies.
• Relevant degree in Politics, Law, Public Policy, or a related field.
