Our client is seeking an astute and proactive Public Affairs Officer to join their team, operating entirely remotely. This role is critical in monitoring and engaging with the political and regulatory landscape, ensuring our client's voice is heard and represented effectively. You will be responsible for building relationships with policymakers, stakeholders, and industry bodies, and communicating complex issues in a clear and concise manner. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments impacting the organization.
- Develop and implement effective public affairs strategies and advocacy campaigns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, policymakers, and stakeholders.
- Prepare briefing materials, position papers, and policy recommendations.
- Represent the organization at relevant industry events and forums.
Requirements
- Proven experience in public affairs , government relations, or policy advocacy.
- Strong understanding of the UK political and legislative process.
- Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Proficiency in remote collaboration tools and a self-starter attitude.
