Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Public Relations Manager to lead their communications efforts in Aberdeen . This role is pivotal in shaping and disseminating the company's narrative across various media channels. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive PR strategies that enhance brand visibility and reputation. The ideal candidate will possess a keen understanding of media relations, corporate communications, and public affairs, working collaboratively with marketing and leadership teams to achieve strategic objectives and drive engagement with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic communication plans to enhance the company's public image.
- Manage media relations, including press releases, media kits, and responding to inquiries.
- Oversee social media content and online reputation management.
- Organize and manage press conferences, media events, and company-wide announcements.
- Monitor media coverage and analyze campaign effectiveness, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and key industry figures.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Public Relations professional or similar role, preferably in the Aberdeen area.
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for storytelling.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing successful PR campaigns.
- Strong understanding of media landscape, social media platforms, and digital communication tools.
