About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Public Relations Manager to spearhead their communications efforts in Aberdeen, Scotland . Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies to meet company objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and other media contacts.
• Draft and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other PR materials.
• Manage and respond to media inquiries, coordinating interviews and press conferences.
• Monitor media coverage and public sentiment, reporting on key metrics and insights.
• Oversee crisis communication planning and execution to protect brand reputation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a PR or communications role, preferably within a corporate or agency setting.
• Proven track record of successful media relations and campaign management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of storytelling.
• Proficiency in PR software and social media management tools.
