Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase requisitions and generate accurate purchase orders.
- Coordinate with suppliers to confirm order details, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Track orders and deliveries, proactively addressing any potential delays or issues.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date procurement records and databases.
- Assist with supplier communication and respond to inquiries regarding orders.
- Support senior purchasing staff with data collection and administrative tasks.
- Help manage inventory levels and assist with stock checks as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative, coordination, or purchasing support role.
- Excellent organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
