Quality Assurance Inspector (Aerospace)

About the Role

Our client is recruiting for a meticulous Quality Assurance Inspector specializing in the aerospace sector for their facility in Bradford . You will be responsible for inspecting components, sub-assemblies, and finished products to ensure they meet stringent quality standards and specifications. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of aerospace components and assemblies.
• Verify that manufactured parts conform to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMMs) accurately.
• Document inspection results, identifying non-conformities and initiating appropriate corrective actions.
• Review production records and quality documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 or other relevant aerospace quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quality Inspector, preferably within the aerospace industry.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience with various precision measuring equipment.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles and procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a quality assurance team.
