Quality Assurance Lead - Manufacturing

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Lead to oversee quality control and assurance processes within their manufacturing operations. This hybrid role requires a strategic thinker who can develop and implement robust quality management systems to ensure product excellence and compliance. You will lead a team of QA professionals, drive continuous improvement in quality metrics, and work closely with production and engineering departments to maintain the highest standards. Your expertise will be vital in safeguarding product integrity and customer satisfaction, ensuring that all manufactured goods meet stringent internal and external requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with relevant industry standards.
• Lead and mentor the Quality Assurance team, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Conduct internal audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality protocols and identify areas for improvement.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to address non-conformities.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and enhance product design and manufacturing processes.
• Manage external audits and certifications, ensuring the company meets all regulatory and customer quality expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing QMS, including ISO 9001 standards.
• Strong knowledge of quality control tools, statistical analysis, and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., Root Cause Analysis).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model , balancing remote responsibilities with on-site collaboration.
